Yes. In your account settings you can set a quiet window by time of day and day of week. Alerts detected during quiet hours are held and delivered when your window reopens — or discarded if the opportunity has passed.

Alerts are tied to your account and are not transferable. Sharing credentials or alert feeds is a violation of our Terms of Service and will result in account termination. Each bettor needs their own subscription.

By default, Telegram opens links inside its own in-app browser. This is a problem for arb betting because you need two sportsbook apps open simultaneously — which isn’t possible inside Telegram’s browser.

Fix: turn off “Open links in Telegram.” Go to Telegram → Settings → Chat Settings → toggle off Open Links in Telegram. Deep links will now open directly in your default browser, letting you have both books open at the same time for fast execution.

A middle is when you bet both sides of a spread or total at different numbers, creating a window where both bets win simultaneously. For example: Leafs -1.5 at one book, Leafs +2.5 at another. If the Leafs win by exactly 2, both bets cash. Our middle calculator tells you the probability of the middle hitting and whether the expected value justifies the play.

These are two different calculations — both correct. The alert margin (e.g. 3.1%) is the theoretical edge based purely on the odds, assuming you deploy the mathematically optimal stake on each leg. The calculator margin (e.g. 6.2%) is your actual realized return given what you really deployed.

This most commonly happens when a book limits your stake on one leg. Say the optimal play was $450 on Book A and $550 on Book B, but Book A caps you at $92. You now only have $167 total at risk — but you still collect roughly the same dollar profit. The same dollars of profit on a smaller stake equals a higher percentage return.

The lock feature in the calculator handles this automatically — lock the capped leg at your allowed stake and it recalculates the other leg to maximize your return given the constraint.

It depends on the opportunity. Pre-game line arbs can last minutes to hours. Live in-game prop arbs can vanish in seconds. As a rule of thumb: act within 60–90 seconds of receiving the alert. The deep links in your Telegram notification take you directly to the bet slip, which helps significantly.

Odds move constantly. By the time an alert reaches your phone, a book may have already adjusted. This is normal — arb opportunities are fleeting by nature. The faster your detection tier and the quicker your execution, the more you’ll capture. Pro+ with WebSocket detection gives you the best window.

Pre-game: detected before the event starts — more time to execute, available on Edge and above. Live in-game props: detected during the event as lines move in real time — much shorter execution window but often larger margins. Live props are available on Pro and Pro+.

Honest answer: consistent arbitrage betting can lead books to limit your account over time — this is true regardless of what tool you use. ArbEdge doesn’t make this more or less likely; it just helps you find and execute opportunities faster. Most experienced arb bettors manage accounts across multiple books to distribute their action. We don’t give account management advice, but we don’t pretend this isn’t a real consideration either.

No. ArbEdge is an information and alerting service only. We detect opportunities and notify you — all betting is done by you, manually, on the book’s own app or website. We never touch your accounts, credentials, or funds.

Yes. Arbitrage betting is legal. ArbEdge only surfaces opportunities across AGCO-licensed Ontario operators and equivalent Alberta-regulated books. There is nothing illegal about betting both sides of a market across different licensed operators. Individual books may restrict accounts that they identify as sharp bettors — but that is a commercial decision by the book, not a legal issue.

The margins shown are calculated from live odds at the moment of detection. We run a sanity check against trusted books before firing any alert, which filters out stale or erroneous lines. That said, odds move — the figure shown is a point-in-time snapshot. The actual margin you lock in depends on how quickly you execute and whether both lines are still available.

Yes to all three. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then. No partial refunds for unused days on monthly plans.
